As with most things, anything well planned tends to run more smoothly ... we would like to work with you to maximise your installation experience by planning ahead in terms of your initial set up and training time ...

If you have specific staff members who handle certain aspects of your business (such as stock ordering and receipting), let's organise a dedicated time to spend going through your new system with that person, and ensuring they get the most from their allocated training time.

Generally, the first day we spend on site will be getting Merlin up and running on your computers, and working with you to configure the software to suit your business needs ... such as, do you run your stock at "average" or "last in" costing ?  There are many aspects of the system that we will go through to ensure we have it set up the way you want it !  This day will also ensure that your database conversion (if you have had one) is all correct and entering any remaining last minute data into the system.

After that, we will work through a training schedule based on the software modules that you are implementing, and the people you want to have trained ... we like to allow time between training sessions for you to take a break, or practice on your "Tutor" database (all systems are set up with one), so that we don't completely overload you and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may think of !
